(PHOTOS) Uhuru holds talks with Museveni in Uganda
Former President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday held talks with Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni.
Uhuru is the facilitator of the East Africa Community-led Nairobi Peace Process.
The two leaders discussed matters of regional peace and security.
The EAC-led Nairobi Process is a regional peace initiative aimed at resolving the conflict in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

It was launched in April 2022 and it is based on principles of inclusivity, dialogue, ownership, regional leadership, and international support.

Uhuru was appointed by the EAC Heads of State as the Facilitator to champion peace and oversee the implementation of the Nairobi Process.
He is tasked to coordinate and lead a comprehensive peace process, involving political dialogue and military interventions.
