Ex-Citizen TV Show Host Charlie Ouda Dies at 38 Six Months After Engagement
The relatives of Charles ‘Charlie’ J. Ouda and Ciru Muriuki have sadly announced the tragic passing of Charles on the evening of February 3, 2024. At the time of his unexpected demise, Charles was 38 years old.
The Ouda and Ciru Muriuki families have released a statement urging everyone to honor the privacy of the mourning fiancée and the Ouda family in the midst of this challenging period.
The request seeks a period of time to mourn an incomprehensible tragedy, with additional information to be furnished at a later time.
In September 2023, Ciru, a former BBC Africa presenter, and Charles delightedly announced their engagement, charming numerous people with their endearing moments.
In a video shared on Ciru’s Instagram, the couple lightheartedly hinted to their followers about the recent happenings in their lives.
In the video, Ciru playfully asked about possible amusing incidents, like receiving a speeding ticket, before unveiling the highlight of the announcement—the engagement ring adorning her right hand.
