Shock As Men Hack ‘Illuminati’ Brother To Death In Malindi
Two individuals purportedly killed their sibling openly during the day in the Sabaki ward of Malindi subcounty, Kilifi, suspecting that he was affiliated with an undisclosed organization.
In a strange event, the brothers forcibly escorted Mwalimu Charo to their mother’s burial site, compelling him to admit his alleged association with the Illuminati. They asserted that this connection was responsible for their mother’s demise a few months prior.
Eyewitnesses reported that the individuals journeyed to Msabaha village, where Charo ran both a barbershop and a boda boda business. They compelled him to get on a motorcycle and transported him back to his residence, where they fatally attacked him, leaving the onlookers in the village in shock.
Initially, the target resisted complying with his brothers’ demand to confess, opting instead to escape. However, his assailants chased him down and relentlessly attacked him with machetes until he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
They proceeded to break apart his body and concealed the pieces in a sack before making a hasty escape from the location.
Wilmot Mwanyalo, the police commander of Malindi subcounty, verified the unfortunate incident on Sunday afternoon and mentioned that his officers were currently conducting an investigation.

Addressing reporters in his office, Mwanyalo explained that Charo was compelled by his siblings to take a motorcycle taxi, which transported him to Maboromokoni in Sabaki village, where their mother is interred.
He mentioned that the victim was instructed to perform certain rituals in the cemetery. However, instead of complying, the victim attempted to flee, leading his brothers to pursue him and assault him with machetes.
“His brothers picked him up at his residence in Msabaha, forced him to board a motorcycle, and took him to their home village of Maboromokoni to conduct some rituals at their mother’s grave,” the officer said.
Upon arriving at the location, law enforcement discovered an abandoned sack containing a lifeless body, with the perpetrators conspicuously absent.
Mwanyalo encouraged families dealing with conflicts to seek help from village elders or church leaders rather than resolving issues independently.
“There are institutions and people in the community who can help settle such disputes, including the church and village elders. If you feel these cannot help, you can seek assistance from the courts of law,” Mwanyalo said.
