Putin Withdraws Wagner Group Troops Amid Coup Fears in Ukraine
It is believed that Wagner Group mercenaries, many of whom are convicted felons, will be replaced by up to 300,000 new regular soldiers heading to war.
The Kremlin has ordered the notorious Wagner Group mercenaries to scale back their operations in Ukraine out of concern that they are becoming too powerful.
The 50,000-member squad, which includes many convicted criminals, has played a crucial role in the brutal fighting in eastern Ukraine.
According to sources, founder Yevgeny Prigozhin has ceased recruiting prisoners and will reduce his forces within weeks.

It is believed that they will be replaced by up to 300,000 additional regular soldiers heading to war.
Wagner’s position in Ukraine was demoted after President Vladimir Putin grew increasingly anxious about his standing.
Even though they are allegedly Putin’s allies, Prigozhin and Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov are gaining power in the region.
The two individuals, along with the recently demoted Russian general Sergey Surovikin, are suspected of plotting against Putin.
Bruce Jones, an authority on Russia, told the Daily Mirror, “President Putin and Yevgeny Prigozhin have maintained close ties and been allies for decades.
“This appears to be the end of Prigozhin’s relationship with the regular forces after he had been openly critical and even abusive to senior military figures. It is believed that his criticism of the behavior of the regular forces and their commanders is a subtle jab at Putin, who now views him as a potential rival.”
Russia’s long-anticipated spring offensive appears to have begun earlier than anticipated with massive missile strikes across Ukraine.

Outside the strategic Donetsk town of Bakhmut, Russian forces are engaging in heavy shelling and infantry assaults.
The presidential office of Ukraine reported yesterday that at least five civilians had been killed and as many wounded the previous day.
Now the race is on to get vital armored equipment to Ukrainian troops on the front lines.
