Watch: Pastor Asks Congregants To Give Him Their Full January Salaries

As January approaches its conclusion, a month known for its length and challenges, numerous individuals are eagerly awaiting their upcoming paychecks, with approximately two weeks left.

Currently, a clergy member has initiated the process of computing the earnings of his congregation.

A controversial online video depicts a Nigerian pastor urging members of his congregation to transfer their entire January incomes into his bank account, eliciting strong disapproval from viewers.

In a video that has gained widespread attention, Pastor John Anoskie instructs the congregants of his church to contribute their initial earnings of the year, referred to as their January salaries, into his designated account.

He stated that the funds were intended for his personal use rather than the church, emphasizing the importance of sending the money and promising that miracles would soon be witnessed.

In his words, “I want to challenge you by the Spirit of God, I’m not afraid of anyone or blame if you call me your spiritual father, your salary for this month, it’s for me, not for the church, it’s for this. to change, the word is for my well-being.”

Continuing his address, the pastor emphasized that adhering to his guidance, particularly in showing respect through the allocation of January salaries, will result in noteworthy improvements in the lives of church members by the middle of the year.

He further asserts that in the absence of noticeable improvements or transformations in their lives, individuals are encouraged to return, and he guarantees a full refund of their money.

The pastor, seemingly issuing a warning, asserted that if the church members regarded him as their father, pastor, and counselor, and if they had sons and daughters within the congregation, they needed to ensure the transfer of funds to his account.

This corresponds to a recent video featuring Pastor Victor Kanyari, where he mocked individuals who regularly approached him without bringing anything with them.

In Kanyari’s video, he criticized followers who regarded him as their spiritual father but approached him with empty hands or only 200 to 500 shillings, an amount he considered insufficient.

He declared his intention to remove from the church those who approached him without bringing food items like sugar, vegetables, and other necessities.
