Kapenguria MP Samuel Muroto’s wife dies
Kapenguria MP Samuel Moroto is in mourning following the loss of his wife.
Mary Muroto is said to have breathed her last on Friday.
The MP in a statement over her demise revealed that the wife succumbed to cancer.

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of my dear wife, Mary Saisy Moroto. Her courageous battle against cancer, an adversary that inflicted unimaginable pain, has come to an end,” the MP disclosed.
“Despite our relentless efforts to save her, God has chosen to grant her eternal rest.”
Moroto described the tragedy as a difficult one for the family even as they come to terms with the reality.

“Coming to terms with her departure is an immense challenge, and the reality of her absence is still difficult to grasp. We find solace in the memories of her strength, love, and the countless moments we shared,” he said.
West Pokot governor Simon Kachapin also mourned the passing of the MP’s wife describing her as a loving mother who left a rich legacy to many who interacted with her.
“Until her demise, the late Mama Cherop remained a loving and dedicated mother, leaving a memorable mark on the hearts of those who knew her,” the governor noted.
“My deepest condolences to Hon. Moroto, his family and friends. May the cherished memories and the love Mama Cherop shared, bring comfort and solace during this difficult time.”
