    KPLC announces power interruptions in 9 counties Tuesday

    KPLC announces power interruptions in 9 counties Tuesday

    Kenya Power has announced power interruptions in nine counties to be experienced on Thursday.

    The power company said interruptions are due to scheduled maintenance.

    Counties to be affected include Nairobi, Makueni, Kajiado, Migori, Homa Bay, Nyeri, Embu, Mombasa and Kilifi.

    In Nairobi, areas to have power interruptions include part of Riverside Drive, German High Commission, Uganda High Commission, Riverside Mews, Riverside Grove, Riverside Residency, Mandari Kindergarten, Part of Mzima Springs Rd, Part of Tende Drive, Strathmore School, International Organisation for Refugees, Siri Aribindo Avenue and adjacent customers.

    Itangini Mkt, Kaumoni, Ngoluni, Kisau Girls, Mbumbuni Mkt, No, Nyanya, Ngaa, Kithungo, Tawa, Kalawani, Wanzauni, Kikima, Mavindu, Uvaani, Kyuu Nzeveni in Makueni will experience power interruption.

    Parts of Kajiado to have power interruptions include Kitengela, Imara Steel, Zeneth, Majani Bora, Jumbo Tank Masai Rural, and adjacent customers.

    Others are Kibiko, Baboon Crescent Rd, Kimuka Centre, Oloshobor, Kajiado West Polytechnic, Kimuka Olomaroroi, Suswa Rd, Saikeri Shopping Centre and adjacent customers.

    Parts of Migori to be affected include Uriri, Kamsaki, Koigo, Bware, Kisangura, Kolwal, Kakrao, God Jope, Oyani, Ugari, Warisia, Stellah, Magongo, Rayudhi, Nyasare, Chamkombe, Pinnacle Plaza and Kimadui.

    Olodo, Radiro, Kodiera, Langi, Malela, Kipasi, Ndhuru, Ochieng Odiere, Ogongo, Kamsama, Waondo, Rapora, Usao, Uwii, Lwanda, Osodo, Ponge, Kisui, Mbita, Rusinga Island, Gingo, Sindo, Victory Farms, Nyangwthe, Ngeri, Kisegi, Nyandiwa, Kiabuya, Magunga, Kigoto, Olando, Nyadenda, Nyatoto and Godjope in Homa Bay are set to experience power interruptions.

    In Nyeri, areas including Kirichu Mrkt, Rosa Academy, Kagumo High Sch, Ndurutu, Gladstone Hotel, and Kiganjo Nyewasco Sewerage are scheduled to experience power interruptions.

    Parts of Embu to have power interruptions include Mayori, Karimari, Kariko, Irambari, Karie, Ntharawe, Kirathe, Ngambari, Gomora, Kabuguri, Rurie, Ciorindagwa, Kavingori, Mariari, Newsite, Kiambere, Kariguri, Kamaunju and Gacabari.

    Harambee Estate, Kisumu Ndogo, Shauri Yako, Old Mugoya, VOK, Khadija Pri Sch, Kisauni Polytechnic, Frere Town, Bombolulu Workshop, Ziwa la Ngombe, Sheikh Zayeed, Jasmina Waters, Bandari Villa, Mbungoni and Bakarani kwa Mbuthia in Mombasa will have power interruptions.

    KPLC said parts of Kilifi to experience power interruptions include parts of Bofa, Navy, Baobab Hotel, Kilifi Bay Hotel, and adjacent customers.
