CS Moses Kuria Blames Mungiki Profiling Over Death of Meru Blogger
Public Service Cabinet Secretary (CS) Moses Kuria has alleged major forces are behind the murder of a Meru-based blogger.ย
In a post made on Friday, December 29, the former Gatundu Member of Parliament condemned gang profiling in the Mount Kenya region, noting that the stigmatization is largely affecting the youths.ย
โThe cold-blooded murder of Sniper is in line with the continued profiling and stigmatization of Mt Kenya youth, branding them as members of Mungiki and other outlawed gangs,โ Kuria stated.
Kuria has also blamed fake Mount Kenya Kingpins for the gang profiling happening to youths in the region, terming them as short-term.
โNow tell your fake kingpins to live with the ignominy of their short-termism. I will never do anything for the political expediency of the moment,โ he added.
The CS promised to follow up on the ongoing investigations and help bring Snipperโs killer to justice.
โYou will not get away with this. I will pursue this matter to the bitter end,โ he asserted.ย
