Authorities in Mumias West are currently delving into the tragic demise of 42-year-old Enock Nechesa, a cherished resident of Musanda’s Eshikangu village.
The unfolding investigation follows Nechesa’s perplexing disappearance after he was last spotted departing from his residence on Christmas Day.
Reportedly, family members divulged to Gossipa2z that Nechesa had ventured out with a sum of Ksh.10,000, intending to revel in the festive season.
However, he never returned home. Instead, his lifeless body was unearthed close to a river in Ingusi on Tuesday morning, bearing apparent signs of injury.
In light of this distressing incident, local chief Elisha Ondako confirmed Nechesa’s intentions on the ill-fated day and highlighted the ongoing inquiry into the circumstances leading to his tragic demise.
