Hundreds Throng President Ruto’s Sugoi Home For Christmas Goodies
Hundreds of individuals from Uasin Gishu, as well as neighboring Nandi and Kakamega counties, gathered at President William Ruto’s residence to receive early Christmas gifts.
The locals crowded the streets as early as 4 am when various trucks unloaded treats at his Sugoi residence.
Happy locals formed lengthy lines as they received packages containing wheat flour, cooking oil, and rice.
Philip Lagat, a resident living near the president, expressed surprise at the volume of individuals who arrived this morning.
“I was really shocked, people as far as Chepterwai in Nandi, Kakamega, and Trans Nzoia counties were here very early in the morning, I think Kenyans are really suffering due to hard economic times,” noted Lagat.

He mentioned that the president has maintained a consistent stance over the past few years, but he has never encountered such a substantial volume of individuals before.
The leader urged Kenyans to maintain a hopeful perspective about their country despite any circumstances, emphasizing that efforts were underway to address the challenges.
He mentioned that despite the economy showing signs of improvement, Kenyans should maintain hope that eventually everything will be alright.
On Wednesday, the president, accompanied by First Lady Rachael Ruto and joined by Uasin Gishu leaders led by Governor Jonathan Bii, welcomed children from 50 different children’s homes in the county. This event took place at the Eldoret State Lodge as part of the preparations for the approaching Christmas celebrations.
