Cop Shoots Barmaid Dead, Injures 3 Others In Tussle Over Ksh.16K Bill In Nakuru
One person was shot dead while three others are nursing serious gunshot injuries at Nakuru Level 5 Hospital after a police officer from the Nakuru Central police station allegedly refused to pay a bill of Ksh.16,000 at a local joint.
During the Wednesday 2 AM incident, Constable Nicholas Musau reportedly engaged in a tussle with the barmaids in the Vegas Club and is said to have opened fire before fleeing.

โโฆ(He) picked a quarrel with the barmaids at the said bar over bills for the drinks he had taken. In the process, a fracas ensued and the officer fatally injured the said barmaid namely Ann Maina,โ a report reads.
The Nakuru County police commander said the officer was arrested and locked up at Kaptebwa police station. A pistol with two rounds of ammunition and six spent cartridges were recovered.
Police said the four victims comprised two men and two women. The deceased was a woman and her body was taken to a local mortuary pending post-mortem.
Doctors said the other woman was also undergoing surgery while the two males were in stable condition.
