Diamond’s ‘Zuwena’ Reaches 1 Million Views in 11 Hours

The singer has already released three songs in 2023: Yatapita, My Baby, and Zuwena.

Diamond Platnumz is ecstatic after his latest single, Zuwena, surpassed one million views on YouTube in just 11 hours.

This is a continuation of Diamond’s dominance in the music industry, as his first single, Yatapita, received a million views in 17 hours.

However, he has yet to break his record, which was set by his 2020 hit Waah, which featured Congolese superstar Koffi Olomide. The song (Waah) reached 1 million views in just 8 hours and now has over 129 million views.

“Kwanza niwashukuru ya Mapenzi yenu ya dhati kwangu… Ipi umeipenda zaidi Pili Mnisaidie kuniambia ni Video ipi umeipenda zaidi? “#Yatapita #Zuwena?,” Diamond asked his followers.

Within three days of being uploaded to YouTube, the Zuwena video has received over 3.4 million views.

Director Ivan, who was also the brains behind Simba’s video Yatapita, directed the video.

Chibu Dangote was recently celebrating his first 2023 single Yatapita, which had 1 million views in 17 hours.

The singer has already released three songs in 2023: Yatapita, My Baby, and Zuwena.

“Nawashkuru yenu makubwa na Upendo wenu kwangu… “Shukran kwa Kila aliyeshiriki kufanikisha Video Hii ya #Yatapita InshaAllah Mwenyez Mungu atubariki sote na Kutufungulia kila jema Tuliombalo,” Diamond explained.

The video is currently trending at number one in more than five countries, including Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Oman, Dubai, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Qatar.

The Yatapita song encourages men to keep working no matter what.

The CEO and founder of WCB Wasafi added that men go through a lot when they are not financially stable, urging women to be patient with their partners.

He went on to say that while most men want to provide for their girlfriends, financial constraints can put them in a bind.

“Wimbo huu ukawatie Moyo na kuwafariji wote ambapo tunapitia changamoto mbalimbali za Kimaisha, InshaAllah Mwaka Huu Mwenyez Mungu atujaalie tuweze,” said the star.

While promoting the song, Platnumz chose to take his fans on a trip down memory lane, recalling the day he was dumped because he was broke.
