KUCCPS Opens Portal for Limited KMTC Slots

Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its portal for students seeking to join the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).

In a notice, the placement body noted that the application portal would be open for a specified duration as only limited slots were available.

According to KUCCPS, the vacancies were created by students who failed to report after registering in an earlier exercise.

In turn, applicants for KMPTC programs who were unsuccessful in the previous placement will be given priority.

“KUCCPS invites applications from eligible and qualified secondary school graduates for placement to the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC),” the statement read in part.

The service, however, did not clarify how many slots were available and its selection criterion.ย

On July 22, KUCCPS announced the first-ever application for the college on its platform, urging students to apply.

A few weeks later, the placement body extended the deadline, offering a final opportunity for those who had not applied.

KMTC specialises in medical courses as it offers over 93 courses across 18 departments.

The courses range from certificates to diplomas. These include Medical Engineering, Health Records, and Information Technology.

Others include Orthopedic Trauma Medicine, Community Health, Nutrition, and Dietetics, among others.
