Riara Springs’ Brilliance: Exclusive Interview with Top 2023 KCPE Scholar, Michael Warutere!

Riara Springs Academy, a member of the Riara Group of Schools, sent in the most qualified candidate for the KCPE 2023 examinations, Michael Warutere.

Warutere disclosed in an interview with PoliticalPulseChat that, upon graduating from high school, he aspires to work as a software engineer to assist the nation in resolving some of its most urgent problems.

He elaborated that his primary objective as a software engineer was to assist Kenyan farmers in enhancing their agricultural productivity through the utilization of technology.

“I really thank God for the marks that he has granted me. I want to thank our parents and teachers for holding our hands and helping us succeed,” he stated.

“I would love to attend Mang’u High School. Hopefully, with these marks, I will get a seat in that school,” he added.

John Muriithi, the headmaster of Riara Springs Primary School, expressed his utmost satisfaction to PoliticalPulseChat regarding the institution’s performance on the 2023 KCPE examinations.

“This boy (Warutere) has been our child from baby class. He is a very balanced boy who is not only involved in academics but very active in football and drama activities,” Muriithi heaped praises on Warutere.

Muriithi, comparing the atmosphere at the school after the KCPE results were released to a funfair, remarked that every stakeholder had laboriously achieved exceptional results, not only for Warutere but for the entire class.

Muriithi congratulated students who had completed their examinations from all over the nation, stating, “Everyone in the education sector is successful. Everyone realized their complete potential, irrespective of the resources they were endowed with.

Muriithi added that Riara Group of Schools had reaffirmed its status as one of the preeminent academic establishments in the nation on numerous occasions.

“The Riara management is top-notch. We have been in this industry for the last 50 years. The school has a history of success and we provide world-class education in all our institutions.”

“We serve right from kindergarten, primary, and junior secondary school, we have a girl’s high school, an international school, and a university.”

The exam results, according to Juju Gachukia, director of the Riara Group of Schools, were evidence of the instructors’ and team’s dedication and perseverance on behalf of the students.

“Michael Warutere is a child who started with us at age three in Rainbow, which is the youngest class in kindergarten so he has spent 11 years with us.”

“This is a testimony of a journey that started with the founders Mr Daniel and Dr Eddah Gachukia. Dr Eddah Gachukia is well-renowned for her passion for quality education and creating wonderful spaces for children where they can learn to be the best they can.”

Regarding the distinguishing characteristic of Riara Group of Schools, Director Juju Gachukia stated that the institution takes a holistic approach with each student.

She elaborated that each infant has a unique learning rate, which must be taken into account.

“What makes us unique is that every teacher understands and knows they are professionals. They have a child-centred approach and they are facilitators of a fantastic educational experience. This is what makes us so unique,” the Director added.

Additionally, she emphasized that the institution was adhering to its original tenets, which were to offer an affordable education of high caliber.
