UHURU, GIDEON MOI Tax Evasion Outrages RUTO
President William Ruto has declared a full-fledged war on tax evaders, both individuals and businesses.
Speaking in Mombasa yesterday, a visibly irritated Ruto assured the country that no one will be exempt from paying taxes.
According to Ruto, some powerful people have been using their positions, influence, and power to purposefully avoid paying taxes while Mama mboga has been dutifully and religiously paying what is due to Caesar.

And did you know that the Kenyatta and Moi families are exempt from paying taxes on inherited land under a law?
According to the Estate Duty Act Cap 483 of 1963, whenever a person dies after the commencement of this Act, a tax known as estate duty shall be levied and paid, except as otherwise provided herein.
(a) all property of which the deceased was competent to dispose at the time of his death;
(b) all property in which the deceased or any other person had an interest ceases to exist upon the deceased’s death;
Section 7(3), on the other hand, states that;

This section does not apply to Mzee Jomo Kenyatta or His Excellency Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi.
Many have questioned why the late Presidents Jomo Kenyatta and Daniel Moi had a law gazetted exempting them from paying estate inheritance tax.
Ruto has pledged to repeal the punitive law and make Uhuru Kenyatta and Gideon Moi pay their taxes whether they like it or not.
