President William Ruto has responded to claims by Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga that former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission officials Wafula Chebukati, Abdi Guliye, and Boya Molu visited Odinga’s home.

Raila claimed to have photos of the meeting and threatened to reveal the details of their conversations.

On Monday, January 30, President Ruto dared Odinga to explain why he invited Chebukati to his house during the 16th Annual General Meeting and Conference of the Africa Prosecutors’ Association in Mombasa County.

The president told the prosecutors that he was aware of the enormous pressure that comes with dealing with political leaders.

He urged the prosecutors to create a legacy that would outlast their terms by being influenced by current events.
