Musalia Mudavadi’s Daughter Weds Long-Term Boyfriend
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi’s daughter, Maryanne Mudavadi, wedded her long-term boyfriend, lawyer Nyaga Karanja, on Saturday.
The pair tied the knot in a glamorous wedding held at St. Austin’s Catholic Church in Nairobi County.
Maryanne’s entry was serenaded with songs and ululations. Flanked by her parents, she walked down the aisle with flowers strewn on the pathway to match the theme of the wedding.
Mudavadi, who also doubles as the CS for Foreign Affairs, was all smiles as he led the daughter to the altar.
Presided by the priest, the newly wedded couple exchanged vows to seal their love in the presence of a parked auditorium.
The wedding attendees displayed a variety of attire, ranging from semi-casual dress code to formal suits; in particular, the bride was dressed in a cream gown while the groom wore a velvet tuxedo suit.

In mid-September, the couple held a traditional wedding, which was similarly attended by several politicians.
The wedding exuded elegance, with ushers wearing navy blue dresses adorned with golden stripes and buttons, while the groom looked dapper in a brown and cream outfit that complemented his complexion.
Karanja and Maryanne’s traditional nuptials were held at CS Mudavadi’s ancestral home in Vihiga.
Maryanne pursued her studies in the United Kingdom, graduating with a degree in Psychology.
She also holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management/Personnel Administration obtained from the same institution.
