Kenya and Rwanda Clash on Social Media: Unraveling the Drama

A ‘war of words’ has emerged between Kenyans and Rwandese on social media platform X on Tuesday.

This was after a Rwandese communications expert known as Brendah decided to remind the country about the burgeoning cost of living.

While responding to a banter targeted at her country, Brendah said she had no capacity to insult the Kenyan X user who had shared her not-so-sweet experience in Rwanda recently.

“I was going to insult you but you’re Kenyan so I’ll let your government continue punishing you,” Breandah said in the X post.

The whole fight started when a content creator by the name of Stephu Mulinge alias Msupa S shared her experience about visiting the country.

“Been in Rwanda this weekend and I just couldn’t help but notice how sad these people are. Like the energy is just off from everyone,” she said

Brendah’s post did not go well with Kenyans, as they felt attacked.

However, other Kenyans online concurred with Brendah agreeing that the government has not made life easier for Kenyans.

“It took a Rwandese lady to humble Kenyans. Hapo hata comeback ni mlima, mtumie picha za Expressway,” Rodgers Kipembe Mpuru said.

Another X user by the name of Bravin Yuri said a Rwandese Lady just clapped back at the entire Nation and I do not see Rwanda Vs Kenya anywhere.

“Because nothing hurts more than the truth. You can even create a parody account and roast your Nation in support. We have lost all the respect we had. Make Kenya Great Again (MKGA),” he said.

Mapesa, an X user asked why Rwandese are blinding Kenyans into thinking the country is not established compared to theirs.

“While they are selling screen protectors and phone covers here in Kenya, they later sleep in streets and footbridges. Shame.”

“Huyo Rwandese lady amesema she can’t fight Msupa S ati she will leave the government of Kenya to punish us, I swear to God I felt that! Ameambiwa choose your struggle literally,” Josh said.

“Ukiona kwanza a female Rwandese aki ratio nchi mzima vibaya ivo online, jua hatuheshimiwi anymore. Na hamja retaliate juu ameongea ukweli. Wamesema wako boring lakini hawateseki kama Kenyans. Imeniuma,” Eve Maina added.
